I remember going to the Summit Mall in Akron Ohio back in 1974 and seeing this on display.

I'd support it.  But I also think they should swap the drinking age and the driving age.  Let them get it out of their systems before they can be a danger....

What I like about it is how the design is timeless.  The first time I saw a picture of it I thought it was a modern "retro" concept car.

Happens to be a car I restored and raced a great many years ago.  I had sold it to an exec at American Express, and when the new owner was driving it back home he stopped to take a picture with his wife in the car.

He chose the spot because his office happened to be in the WTC.

Seemed a good day to post this.

I so tried to get my buddies to do that with me, the initial response was great but then the economy came crashing down and resources dried up.  Tis a shame as it looks like a lot of fun.

If you're going to race cars, it's best to learn how to go around corners first.

They lived, with surprisingly few injuries.

Normally oversteer is more of a problem than understeer when the engine is hanging off the wrong end of the car.  I think that was a brake test rather than a race.

In his video description he admits to being bad.  I just thought it was a wonderful example of what should have happened in your video, had the driver turned the wheel rather than pushing the brake pedal as hard as possible.  I don't particularly want to own a 911, and an old one is right out.  Although the things it would learn me might make it worth while.

It's pretty, but give me a 4-speed Shelby any day. If you have a quarter mil to drop on a muscle car, why wouldn't you go for the real thing?

It looks like a Ford, Chrysler, or Chevy from back in the day, depending on the angle.  It has all modern suspension, brakes, body, chassis, and powertrain.  Way too much money for me, and it'd look better without the badges.

Sure an old Shelby would be a better choice for a lot of reasons.  Without having driven one I'm speculating, but I'd expect it to be far more pleasant to drive and more capable.  I like the idea that someone is making it and that people are buying them.

If I ever did a restomod it'd cost at least a fourth of this much and I'd have to find a straight one with a patina to start because I wouldn't want to do the exterior.  For less than that I could buy a new Honda that would be a better car.

I like my Griggs Racing suspension daily driver.  I just bought an '07 Charger to use as the Bluesmobile in next years Dustball Rally.  It's quiet, rides nice over bumps, has good power, handles OK, but it's not as much fun.  I'll definitely sell it after the rally.  If I could justify throwing huge money at a depreciating asset I'd buy an Equus and drive the snot out of it.
