Well, after considerable work on the brakes...
...before...
...and after...
...along with even more work on the electrics and engine, as well as lubrication and refresh of the fluids in the gearbox and rear axle, she's finally back on the road again after almost two decades of languishing in the DPO's old rickety wood garage. Runs very sweet! Not a barn-burner on speed, but cruises pretty relaxingly at about 55 and burns very little oil, if any. Engine holds 23 lbs/sq.in. of oil pressure at idle, which is actually very good for one of these motors.

Stumbled across this Super Star Dart the other day.
Knocked on the door to see if it was available, they took me in and introduced me to the rest of their treasures including a 502 Hemi Dart with velocity stacks and a brand new factory plated Hell Cat on loan from Dodges SRT division. I'll post the rest of the pictures as soon as I finish fapping over the Hell Cat.

Getting the bug running. I have been eyeing this little beauty all winter as it has not moved. This would be a fun car to drive on this island. The roads are already like a go cart track.

Sadly, a British car that's sat like that will need considerable work to put back on the road... it's likely that the brake and clutch hydraulics rubbers are entirely shot, the drums rusted and needing a cut, engine cylinders rusted (unless the exhaust and intakes have been plugged all these years), the clutch plate may well have frozen to the flywheel (requiring taking the engine out and the trans off) and the electrical connections may even have become corroded.

Nice one! What kind of bumper is that? Never seen one of those. And I've seen cutting your apron for big tailpipes like that actually making a comeback.
