So why don’t the neighbors mind their own business? Unless she is initiating interactions with the neighbors, someone like this is best avoided.

Calm down, Taint. This "schnitzel" person could be anybody. It could be someone we already know, or it could be, like, a spy from the DHS.
On the other hand, it made a mildly funny comment relevant to the topic at hand, spelled and very nearly punctuated correctly; and I had some lovely schnitzels for dinner just this past week.
Let's wait and see what it does next.
