I know Clutch was already represented here, but I still think this one is my favorite Redneck Metal anthem:

Did somebody say, "Clutch"?

T-minus whenever it feels right, Baby!

1973 was the best year evar, because I was born in '73.

Saw this in the theater again today.  I don't really care that it's an ad.  I still like the sound.

Oh, and here's Barney for no particular reason.

Kid Rock can go fuck a paper shredder, and...BARNEY?!

Most definitely NOT metal, Zooks.

Thanks for playing...better luck next time.

There is so much wrong with that Kid Rock bullshit, not least of which is that I did time in the Natty Guard and he didn't. In reply I give you Mexicans:

And for your Barney, I give you DETHKLOK

Damn I turn My back on you fuckers for a couple hours and you go and throw a metal thread.

let's start with something light, shall we?

Meshuggah can be a bit chaotic for some people's taste, perhaps you'd prefer something slower?

Dream Theater is too faggy for my taste, but I dunno I guess a lot of people like them.  This video's actually not bad if you watch it on mute:

Speaking of faggy false metal, it doesn't get any faggier than Blind Guardian.  A good friend of mine in college used to just fucking torture us (and everybody else in his entire dorm) with this stool played at about one billion decibels on this Frankensteinian monstrosity of a stereo system.  Skip this vid.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that.  Here's some Slayer to cleanse your palate.  This one's off their newest album which I thought was a very solid offering.

Ask not what Metal can do for you, ask what you can do for Metal.

Death to false metal!

and I'll close this post out with a good one.

I had the Duncan Hills Coffee jingle as my MySpace song for a minute.

Yeah, well....I try not to dwell too much on that.

Hey, can I add some punk? Since it's Friday and all...

Something tells me that Mike Borchardt had something like this video in mind when he made the movie Coven........

God Bless this thread.

I saw them at Center Stage last night and it was a very solid show.  I enjoyed it about as much as I could have without knowing the words to the songs.  I was disappointed that they didn't bring their organist with them.  Also, at 18 dollars per ticket, I'll be happy to see them every time they're in town.

They have metally songs.

They also have shitty electronica songs where they don't feature that driving guitar they're so good at.  Those songs (whole albums, in some cases) blow.
