I find it interesting that they would not say when she died.
In reality, she could have died several days ago and they simply timed the release of the information more conveniently.

By the time the week ends, I will have had two relatives die of cancer. It's just not a "card" you play unless you're a total asshole. Obama may be a lot of things, but I wouldn't credit him with total assholeness, at least not until after his first 100 days.
