I was thinking the best marketing of this site to new users would be non-sequitor, random comments from the regs. And maybe the regs would get a kick out of it. Wasn't trying to make fun.
I'm only sad to see Dhal's gone because I had been waiting on him to use all the things that have become [hallmarks] of his posting [style] in one [fuck you] post. Plus the little army sniper was cute. I said I would be cool if some banners never met the light of day, though, and I stand by that.
So shall I continue in this way? I could use a pale blue to gray to tone down the white. Or is this campaign not as funny as I think it is?

Because none of the quotes are attributed, newcomers won't be able to match them to any particular individual. We all know who they came from, of course, but to everyone else they're just High-Street quotes. I find this delightful.

It might be fair to suggest that I don't have a finger on the pulse of the forum and this incarnation of Cruel - okay. And I'm sorry to know that you found the banner to represent something that you think crosses a line.
It's another thing to say that I'm trying too hard. I think that suggests there is something disingenuous about my intentions. Instead, just come out and say some/all/one of the banners are no good.
