The phone rang, and for an instant, it was like calling anyone. The drug dealer’s line rang exactly the same. I don’t know why this came as a shock. What had I expected? Reggae?

I agree. While I believe marijuana has medical value, the whole medical marijuana drive simply makes hypocrites of us all. Legalize the damned stuff and let's move on to issues that really do deserve our time, like the fact Paris Hilton just dumped her boyfriend.
