That is the complete opposite of what has been the received wisdom. I’ve engaged for many years in a strenuous prevention program to protect myself from prostate cancer, and I refuse to give it up on the basis of one article.

Where did they find any definable demographic of men that had ONLY 34 percent who masturbated regularly, Oral Roberts University?

More than half the males in my family get prostate cancer. Here I just thought it was from living downwind from the huge chemical plants in Baton Rouge and downstream from every plant and toilet between the Rockys and the Applachians.

This study relies on self reported data and is therefore bullshit. Do they really think men can recall accurately and respond truthfully about their masturbation habits from 30 years ago?
Other findings: Men with prostate cancer were more likely to have had a sexually transmitted disease than those without prostate cancer.
The only data I believe. When my prostate swells up into a cement doughnut and my pee slows to a trickle, I can blame the bitch who gave me VD.

I need the researchers definition of "frequently" before I can comment further. To some that's more than once a week. To others that's more than once per shower.

It seems fair to say, in my experience, that if you're male and you've ever been more than, say.... 10 years of age, and happened to be attached to a penis, and happened to be breathing, then you were probably masturbating.
