Wasn't between Ebaum and Cruel, was with Ebaum and the rest of the internet. They had a long history of stealing other people's original works and labeling it as their own. Plus the site just sucked.

Well, that's true. But I did see a certain value in at least giving all the dweebs a place to congregate, kind of like an online teen center.
