The bride appears to be of a different race from the groom.  If the guest/boss disapproved, she should have found a reason not to attend the ceremony and not attended in order to make a scene.  By the time race-mixers get to the altar, it’s too late to persuade the White partner they are making a terrible mistake that will have long term unpleasant consequences.
