All strangled? That always struck me as a difficult way for a 'family annihilator' or 'random intruder' to off more than one person. I mean, what are the other people doing, standing in line to wait their turn?

My first thought was an ex-lover of the wife (probably a negro or mexican) killed her and her children because she broke off the relationship.  After finding out the husband is a fundamentalist weirdo, a rent-a cop, and a former military policeman, I’m inclined to agree that he probably did it.

If that were so, wouldn't all of the names be prefixed with the lower-case initials of the parents so you could determine "type"? Or perhaps just boyGavin and boyGarett? (But that may have bad connotations with another "boy****")
