The horsey-free browser was my finest moment at CSOTD.  The tribute page I put up for that juggallo freak Cates lured over (the guy who wanted to do his cousin) was another high point.  He was begging me to take it down before someone emailed it to his mommy.  I took some heat for showing mercy and taking it down.  And of course there were the weekly stats.  That was a labor of love.

I'm sure it will be no big fucking deal to your kid if you ever get arrested for it.  If some busy-body ever decides to fuck up your life by reporting to CPS about that line of coke or the fact that you habitually smoke pot I'm sure it won't be a big fucking deal for your kid.  A good parent doesn't worry about such things.  Getting stoned is just too important to worry about the consequences it might have for your kid.

You've inspired me to find a fuckload of everything I can and take them tomorrow while I guzzle coffee.  The last time I did that -- about 6 weeks ago -- there was about 4 days of  "???" and no lasting consequences. But I'm not expecting that much tomorrow -- at this point I may be down to mainlining ketamine and cold meds.

I hafta agree with zookeep here....  Many of you may have noted that I'm extremely pro-drug and have promoted its legalization on more than one occasion.  I still think that the use of drugs from marijauna all the way up to narcotics is idiotic.  I'm speaking from experience as a prior pot head and I realize that smoking it in large quantities made me useless as a citizen.  People should have the right to do whatever the fuck they want to do as long as they don't hurt anyone else.  I'm more than willing to allow people the right to use whatever drug or mind altering chemical they want, but I also have the right not to hire them (incredible health, accident and theft risk).  Drug use cannot be rationally defended as anything positive, but should still be considered an individual right.  Stick around for awhile Zookeep and fight the good fight, we need more real conservatism here.

No one's calling CPS. People tend to like me very much.

I live in a nice place. My kids are happy, and my older boy is an honor student. I feed my kids gourmet food, and yes, I bake cookies, too. I own a successful business and am a member of the Chamber of Commerce. I'm well spoken, reasonably pleasant to look at, and I keeps it real. I have an IQ so high, you'd never believe the number. So what if I'm kinda bad? It's part of my charm. People like me get away with murder. But I'm not a murderer, and my kid might even be better adjusted to reality than your kid. It (High Street) seems to now be provoking a similar disgust response from you that "sick" addictions normally do after some time.

Maybe you should take a minute to gather your thoughts, and subjectively experience your existence without the (admittedly) negative influence of this site.

I don't wish anyone to suffer...  Use all the drugs you want and I won't make fight to make a legal or social deal out of it.  I do know some drug addicts that are able to live well as users, but they don't make up the majority.  I'm cool with people using all the drugs they want, I just think they should accept the associated risks and not expect society to give them a safety net if they do fail.

Alcohol doesn't count?

I have about a two drink maximum, which happens on average once a month.  I don't take any drugs, prescription or otherwise; I don't drink coffee or anything caffeinated and I don't smoke.

However, I realize that everyone's body chemistry is unique, and everyone has a different way of coping with "reality."  I believe there are some people who can be functional and productive members of society while smoking marijuana on a fairly regular basis.  However, there are some who for whom it is indeed a gateway drug as they search for the "high" that best fits.

I'm not one to say that all drugs are useless or a crutch because for some people it is absolutely necessary.  At one point I had to help people with various mental illnesses get benefits and you can tell the difference between a bipolar person who takes lithium and one who doesn't.  Also, I know that everyone experiences pain differently, and that for some with chronic pain drugs are the only thing that keeps them from offing themselves.

The difference, though, between you and I is that I am actually the REAL libertarian.  I don't judge people because of their choices.  I may not agree with them, but I'm not in their skin and I don't experience their lives.  As long as they don't negatively impact me I truly believe in "live and let live."

I'm also one for rational application of law.  If drugs are illegal, take away caffeine, alcohol and nicotine.  Trying to say that other drugs are much worse is simply silly.

I know someone who went to jail on drug charges and as a consequence lost her kid for a while.  But admittedly she wasn't as well-liked as you apparently are and was stupid enough to have a kid with someone who was dealing.  Not the case with you so I suppose the minor risk of getting busted is out-weighed by greater "benefit" of getting stoned.  I hope at least that someone else is watching the little ottoman while you are stoned.
