Okay.... You know, why not name a street after someone who actually was involved with the town?  The comments are lots of fun.  I know, local bs... but we could see the city council losing big on this.  Here's Hoping....

There is a move to name NW 23rd "Richard Nixon Blvd."  Hell yeah. 

I don't understand why politicians think that the populace is so easily assuaged with this kind of Numb-Fuckery.  We have MLK Blvd... Rosa Parks Ave... Not one street named for local activist.  Neither party btw ever came to Portland.  WTF?

Usually an MLK Blvd is a warning to non-locals that they have wandered into a very bad part of town.
