The first vermifuge must intervene every month, then to two or three weeks every fifteen days until two to three months until six months among the adult cat two to four times per year.
While on the subject...any suggestions on de-worming an adult cat without resort to a vet? Roundworm, I'm pretty sure.

Standard de-wormers should be available without a prescription. Something along these lines: http://www.entirelypets.com/piperworm60.html should work.

Be very careful about over the counter worm meds. My parents gave Hartz Mountain worm medication to our family’s cats when I was eleven. Three of the four cats died as a result. Hartz never responded to my parents' letter to them about the matter. Needless to say, I refused to use any of their products for subsequent pets.
One big problem is the number of medications that are made in China, or are formulated using raw ingredients from China. Given the lack of regulatory oversight in China, make sure you avoid any meds with a Chinese connection.

An-Other problem is people who fail to properly follow the instructions. De-Wormers have warnings on them for a damned good reason. But, if you follow the instructions exactly, you shouldn't have any problems.

Quit teasing me. When I saw the stream with a lady holding a cat on her lap, you know what I was thinking: Cat drowning time. Maybe next time.

Your sacrifice is too late. Tojo posted this ages ago. I like it, and I'm a kitty cat, and I meow, meow, meow, and I meow, meow, meow...

I've always wanted to get a cat and take it to the butterfly garden at Callaway Gardens.

It's OK, George. I still love you (and I still sneak the occasional look at ICHC, as well).

Never, ever, teach a cat to play with string-like objects. It makes tying your shoes quite difficult.

I think there should be a cat thread moratorium on ICHC. Either find some novel shit, or don't regurgitate. Those of use who pass thru ICHC for a larf have already seen it. If you think anyone else needs to, you are sorely mistaken. I KIN HAZ MOAR KWALITY KAPSHUNS PLZ. KTHXBAI.

Personally I don't keep tabs on icanhascheezeburger, so I appreciate it when something chuckleworthy is posted here, but I may be in the minority.
