Telemarketers and people who send junk mail and spam deserve whatever abuse they receive. It’s Un-American for the authorities to prosecute this man for taking part in this time honored American tradition of harassing telemarketer scum.

Worse yet, it was those car warranty motherfuckers who spoof their caller ID.
I've heard (on the internet, where everything is true) that if you gave them too much grief when they called you, they'd start using YOUR number as one of their fake caller ID numbers, then you'd start getting all these calls from pissed off people at all hours of the day and night.
The only thing this guy did wrong was fail to follow up on his arson threat, in my opinion.

See, now, the real issue is 'specificity.' I have learned through experience to preface most of my horror inducing statements to strangers with, "Wouldn't it be terrible if someone came along and..." Thus, it's not a direct insinuation of harm. Regardless, it almost always boils down to he-said/she-said bullshit, and the only thing you don't want is witnesses.

I get those "your car warranty is expiring" flyers all of the time. I got one once for my 1971 VW Bus.
Couldn't he have just stuck the return envelope to a box of dog shit and drop it in the mail like everyone else?
