As mentioned in comments, there are other thin mint-chocolate wafer cookies on the market.
Nobody buys girl scout cookies because they're rare and only available for a limited time. You buy them because those little girls ring the doorbell and you have sucker written on your forehead. Same reason you buy all the other crap kids come to the door selling. They won't sell fewer because Wally World is selling something similar for less money. I can always get better stuff for 1/3 the price. I look in the mirror to see sucker every morning.

Our Wally World kicked the Girl Scouts off of it's front steps years ago, also tossing the Salvation Army's Santa at the same time. I could give a shit about the Salvation Army, those sanctimonious homophobes, but the Girl Scouts were cool because they weren't pushy.

Sorry, but as much as I despise Walmart, I hate the Girl Scouts more. Don't ask me why, or I'll tell you a recent story that will uncurl your pubes. If that megapieceofshit wants to swipe recipes from what I will agree is a national institution, then let them, and let them fight it the fuck out. Personally, I suppose I hope the Girl Scouts eventually win, which is a seeming reversal of my original opinion, but when the underdog wins, we all applaud.
