What difference would it make? There are serious questions about the authenticity of this diary alleged to have been written by an unusually precocious girl when she was between the ages of twelve and fourteen.

How dare y’all question the tragedy of Anne Frank? She suffered for her art. First her diary is published, which is every little girl's worst nightmare. Then she doesn't get any money for it, which is every Jew's worst nightmare.

Anne Frank only wrote that diary to cover up the fact that she sold her family out to the Nazis in exchange for amnesty.

I always thought that Tim Burton should make a stop-motion version of the Anne Frank story... with too many songs in it. And Johnny Depp in it somewhere. That would totally work!
