Is that a guitar or the dashboard from a 747?

So many things to thank Lester for... multi-track tape recording, solid-body guitars, electronic instrument amplification, overdubbing, delay, phasing, mic milking... not to mention a huge body of truly wonderful music... a true genius, and a true loss for all of music.

And besides, anyone who's a buddy of Chester Adkins is OK with me.

In-Deed - The "full body sound" of the Gibson Les Paul is un-matched.  I only wish that I could afford to have mine re-fretted.  I hate to think about it just sitting in it's case in an un-playable state (It's a 1963 custom "gold-top", and one of the "first loves of my life").

Alas, I only play hollow-body electrics because I prefer their sound.    But we still owe so much to Les.
