I heard about this awhile back.  The main difference is this time around, I don't recognize a single actor's name and don't think I've ever seen any of them in anything.

I think the best we can hope for is a movie as ridiculous as the original; but more likely it'll just be bad, as opposed to so-bad-it's-good.  John Derek was one crazy motherfucker.

Oh, and they'll never replace Harry Dean Stanton.  I hope they don't try.
