Pig trichinosis, and the ancient unavailability of refrigeration in a desert climate prompted the "God" of both the Jews and Muslims to prohibit eating pork, and the red tide in months not containing an "r" made them also ban shellfish.

Wait a minute . . . I thought that the "red tide" only ap-plied to their a-version to wo-men who are menstruating. Ob-Viously, I seriously need to "brush-up" on my religious history.

Do not make the mistake of forgetting the swines bad habit of rooting around the battle field and eating what they find....
