I’m sure the food was full of pubes and boogers!

Every clue you need to decode this story is in the following statement:

(the ticket was around $75, but I didn't keep the receipt)

I have eaten at Chilis a few times. How two adults and two kids spent $75 is beyond me unless they did one or more of the following:

1) Drank about 5 beers each.
2) Had two appetizers and two desserts each.
3) Had at least two entrees each.

(paraphrasing)Fat, drunk and abusive is no way to go through life son...

But they DO have waffles at Chilis. You know, "Mexican" waffles, the flat kind without any bumps and the Mexicans put special syrup on them...

I bet she got some yummy saliva salad dressing.

Chilis is not my favorite place to eat. The fake "memorabilia" creeps me out, and their food is greasy.

If I did have occasion to eat there, though, I would shut my piehole and not demand a waffle.

May-Haps not.  I have run a-cross too many self-in-volved fuck-heads over the years who could have well written this re-view.

Really?  Be-Cause, even at my age, I tend to get rather e-static when given crayons and a coloring book.

This was a restaurant and they should have something simple like waffles.

In-Deed!  And, why can I not get filet mignon at Burger King?

You're right. I have seen this several times using various restaurants.

I have never eaten at Chili's and I don't see that I ever will, but I think now that's largely due more to the low class of customers they get as opposed to their food.

I ate at Chili's in Tokyo (for obvious reasons); I don't eat at chain restaurants when I'm here in the US.  Just something I have about paying far too much for really bad food in a contrived environment.

Not obvious to Me.  All the great food in Japan, and you go to Chili's?  That's... peculiar.

I just prefer to eat at a place where someone in the building has an interest in keeping people happy and the business open. I'll eat at a family owned greasy spoon before I'll subject myself to a scrupulously planned "dining experience" at a cookie-cutter box restaurant.

But most of the time I just try to order whatever entree isn't boiled in fat and salt.

There's a fucking Spaghetti Factory in Tokyo.

Supposedly dinner costs a fortune there. For pasta.

after enough time (about the fourth week for me) you really want some American food in an American setting - keep in mind that I do not like seafood.

I did all of the high-end fusion restaurants and the local jap eateries, ate at the "Irish" pubs and usually ended up at Chili's or the Hard Rock come Sunday afternoon when the city was dead.  I'd try to get out to the American bases once a month or so and have some real food and do my shopping.

No, that's quintessentially American.

No, that's quintessentially American.

That's quintessentially human, to assume that only American's do such things is quintessentially American.

He's getting so bad that I've considered adding code to the board to strip every hypen from his posts.

Don't make me do it, Dec.

(Hmm, just realized I could be more subtle/evil about it by making it so he sees them, but no one else...)
