That being said, it was not the cursing that was at issue here... it was the demeaning manner in which she treated people. I don't think the ears of sailors are so tender as to be offended by creative and florid linguistics. But treating subordinates like crap, that's another issue.
I do wonder though... when they interviewed her, did she roll a few steel balls in her hand?

I am not sure how you so readily jumped to that connection. I met plenty of fe-male commanders in the Army who were excellent. And, I met plenty of male commanders who were complete dick-heads, idiots, or both.

Her leadership style doesn't seem that unusual.
I think people are using her politically as an example of women as bad leaders... when the truth is you'll meet dickheads of every rank and the vast majority of them are dudes. You don't have to be a woman to have a position you don't deserve, you just have to be an asskisser and step on people's faces on the way to the top.

Nahh...she was an exceptional case. She put a Master Chief in "Time out" fer christs sake. She deserved to be sacked for that alone.
