I've never understood the logic of sentencing gay men to an all male environment as a "punishment" for being attracted to men. Yes, I know prison isn't a great place to be, but getting laid is a lot easier than it is in a homophobic society where most of the gay people pretend to be straight for their own safety.

Hardly surprising for a part of the world where people are routinely accused of witchcraft, ferchristsake (Where is he, anyway?), but a little too ironic given the fact that several gay organizations in the UK have been working to raise money for AIDS care in Malawi.
