Funnily enough, one of the original founders who calls the new crew "Morons" is a dear friend of mine. When the Red n Black was first open it was very cool. Now days, not so much.
I got 86'd for being out of place there, about a year ago. I had only been a patron of it in its old location for the whole of its existence.

"The cafe draws vegans -- of course -- along with homeless people and animal-rights and environmental activists who Langley said have been targets of police abuse and harassment."
All of these people should be harassed.

Too bad the officer is a White male. He can't play the Race Card or the Sexual Harassment card and sue for damages.

I was a card carrying member of the IWW for years. Before that years before, a member of the Teamsters.
My family on one side has a long history of labour organizing. Blood and Guts.

Unions very much have their place in the capitalistic society, they have however become far too corrupt and far to powerful.
Public Employee Unions are a direct conflict of interest and should be banned.
Trade Unions need to eliminate paid Union staff positions, if you ain't working a job you shouldn't be speaking for the working man.

Wait...Wobblies? Coffee? Solidarity Forever!
One of the funniest, most ironic scenes from the early '80's was news footage of a bunch of Reaganite, hippie-smashing, hard hat laboring conservative types singing "Solidarity Forever" to support the Polish Solidarity Movement, happy, like all good blue collar conservatives, in their complete ignorance, in this case of the song's origins and history.
(PS: yes, the Polish Solidarity Movement was a Good Thing)

Just wait until they make the next "disturbing customer" call and it takes about 37 years until they see a squad car...
