I couldn't tell is Morris was trying to eat the fawn or just give it a bath.

How do you think that dog will feel when the other dogs learn that it got pwned by a doe?

This is why I think my new hunting program for suburbia should be given a try. Crossbows with deep sea casting reels sporting 180lb braided Spiderwire. You shoot them, then reel them in.

If a deer was doing that to my cat I'd fucking kill it.

[someone says blah blah blah deer are strong and big and scary]

I'm an advanced tool user. Yards are full of rocks and branches. Game over.

Advanced tool users fire high velocity projectiles.  Not so advanced tool users have rocks and branches.

Fair point, but I don't walk around strapped. Evolved people are also good at risk assessment.

The cat was at least smart enough to remain cautious and run away. Domesticated dogs have had nearly all their natural awaremenss bred out of them. It was not even able to react fast enough to a charging beast 4 times its size bent on its destruction.

And don't even get me started on how unaware humans are of the very world they inhabit.
