So I have to ask, did any of you get through childhood without getting sunburned?  Assuming you had normal parents, do you believe they should have faced criminal charges because you got burned?

It takes a pretty bad sunburn to send a baby to the hospital.  I think a warning would have been sufficient (I'm sure the parents felt horrible), but sunblock malfunction?  I don't think so.  They fucked up.

Baby skin sunburns very very quickly. But it also regenerates quickly. They will be uncomfortable for a couple of days and you will use a lot of aloe, but I can't see criminal charges. How do they help the child?
