Bradbury chafes, for instance, at the description of his work as science fiction.

While I love some of Bradbury's work, this is all too true.  You wouldn't hear Azimov or Clarke complaining about "too many internets".

I like that government is too big, but that NASA should go to the goddamn moon.

I'm of the opinion that if we last long enough, private industry will develop in orbit... microgravity industrial processes and energy resources will become economically viable.  I'm a little disappointed that "space tourism" will probably lead the way.

At this point, a human presence on Mars or the Moon are a massive waste of funds.

Yes.  The best thing about the ISS is that we’re collecting data about what happens to humans in space.  Otherwise, let the robots lead, with ram scoops.

Actually, I'm more than a little gobsmacked that space porn didn't lead the way.  After all, porn has led in nearly every other modern endeavor.

NSFW???  Hell No!!  I cranked that shit to the max and was begged for the link; middle aged women just love a song where she gets to sing "Fuck Me"

That is the best thing I have seen all year.

I do like the view point of one of the people posting about Ray's thought --

The best way to fund the development of the moon is to (1) claim ownership of the moon for the United States and then (2) sell off mining rights to private enterprise.
