And so the looting of the people continues.  Politicians are responsible because they were only interested in eating da poo-poo of special interests for bribes, umm, I mean campaign donations and ignoring obvious problems that were staring them in the face.  The Republicans were far worse in this regard than Democrats, but all of them should be tortured for eternity in Hell.

Amid this, a 1.4 trillion dollar robbery had taken place on the American people, which has done nothing to slow the drop in jobs or foreclosures.  This is why I'm not voting for either major political party on Tuesday November 2nd.  Both parties are 100% complacent in the bailout, anyone who voted for it, even if they changed their mind later(my district dipshit is Eric Cantor), needs to go, and not be replaced by a member of the Donkeys or Elephants.

Yeah, I mean it's not like we've gone from losing almost 700,000 jobs a month to actual job growth (unacceptably low though it may be) or anything, and it isn't like we actually turned a profit on TARP.

It's vote buying, plain and simple. You give someone a few thousand a month, then say that the opposition will take it away, they become your best friend. It's not bad money for 10 minutes of work every 2 years.
