I have to give the TSA credit for one thing.  As a big collector of airline miles I was flying about four to five times a year but using very little vacation time because instead of a three day drive to California or Nevada (my most visited areas) and a three day drive back I was getting there in a couple of hours.  These fuckers made me quit collecting airline miles altogether and now I'm planning some awesome roadtrips.  I think in this next year I'll actually use my three weeks of vacation and have a lot more fun in the process.  I'm sure the airlines are going to go bankrupt and get a huge baillout getting my money regardless of whether I use their services or not, but at least I get to use up my vacation time productively.

I recently posted a comment on my local newspaper's website to an article about how our local police and fire fighters aren't getting paid enough or shown enough respect for the work that they do.  Granted my comment was extremely hateful in that I described the local "civil servants" as thieves for taking the local's money by force for the crappiest service known to man.  The best part about it all was that all of the local tax payers cheered me on and supported me, but the local police and fire department employees and their families threatened me for not understanding how important and necessary they were.
