I googled "st. augustine" and "white trash" and this is what I got:

I'd love to spend a week in Clearwater, but Vegas was too tempting and I can't do both.  I'm heading to Lost Wages in 2 days, where  I hear the weather at the crap tables is a balmy 72 degrees 24/7.

Oh, we spent the week before Xmas there.  It was fantastic.  We dined like swine and gambled like idiots.  Have yourself a blast--bet the dark side for me one time.

The dark side is a $5 slot machine :(

It'll be my first time in Vegas, though I'm not new to craps.  I'll tell you you what, I'll play a 3 hard for you.  Just once, and only because you're my favorite grammar wench.   Otherwise it's volume and comps.

You mentioned craps, and "betting the dark side" is virtually the only thing I can vaguely remember about craps.  I don't play myself, but sometimes Husband™ likes to lean over a table.

You've never been to Vegas before?  Knock yourself out, good sir.

Craps are statistics, "betting the dark side" is just fucking your odds.  And there's no such thing as a 3 hard :)

Choad, I feel for you. You ever try riding your motorcycle in 50-degree weather with the sun glinting in your eyes as it sets over the Pacific? Man, we're suffering in San Francisco. I had to wear my cold weather jacket, too!

Vegas isn't one of my favorite cities - despite the growing gay community, it's a very straight city - but I've eaten some excellent food there, at a chain place, no less (Really, really good steaks at McCormick and Schmick's followed by some great cigars out on the patio) and at Rao's at the Bellagio.

You should make a point of just strolling the Strip if the weather is good. Some of the most eye-opening and entertaining people watching I've done any place can be found there and architecturally, the city is just balls-to-the-wall-over-the-top. It's fun. You should spend a little time just taking it all in.

I'm on the lookout for a good Wellington and some garlicy snails.

You know I'm just going to hang around the craps tables, but that was a nice try!

Fuck all that, Vegas is a shitty vacation destination.  I want a party town, the Big Easy or Munich or even Souix Falls is much more fun than Vegas.

I don't need someone to plan my fun for me - Fuck Vegas.

In Florida, 60 degrees IS miserable cold. It was so cold I didn't even want to hang out on the porch for a beer and a toke with the neighbors last night.

It's 15 here and I toked with the neighbors. Doesn't anyone in Florida have a garage?

Sure, that's where we were at the start, I was helping him set up the jets for his kid's motocross bike. Moving around is fine, but once you stop, you start getting cold.

Once you live in Florida for a couple of years, you break out the ski parka at about 65 degrees.

70 degrees and below you can wear a wetsuit legally in a triathlon.  I don't like to swim under 80.  Too damned unpleasant.

It's right outside Solvang, aka The Danish Disneyland.  Solvang was looking a little faded the last time I was there ten years ago, and HKG would be freaked out by all the blond people of Danish descent who live in the area.

Not at all. He had the Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu but he recovered.
