I've been waiting to see when that would show up; I must say that I'm quite disappointed at the level of muckraking around here lately.

She probably looked no different than the other employees around her, why bust our balls?

Wells, a USC graduate, was a longtime compliance auditor...
Translation: her job was to determine what work just wasn't done by the worthless Affirmative Action hires, or was so shoddy that it needed to be redone. The stress from covering up incompetence, and redoing/reassigning the work assignments of losers who are impossible to fire under Civil Service rules got to her.

Wrong again. EEO compliance most often occurs in the HR department. She was an auditor for Internal Services. Compliance officers generally insure that an agency or organization is in compliance with state, local or federal government regulations. As many areas are regulated, compliance officer's duties are usually pretty specialized. While the article does not specify her specific job duties, I am fairly certain that it was not monitoring afffirmative action hires as it is highly unlikely that this would ever occur outside of the HR department.
