90% of men prefer heterosexual sex. Who cares?

Why would someone go to all of the trouble to make herself better looking just to attract someone who will mooch off her, spend all day sleeping on the couch, leave her with a couple of kids to raise by herself and then bang her friends while she is out working to support them all? I just can't believe that more black women haven't just gone lesbian and never looked back.

I don't know if this is a valid study, but judging scientific discovery by way of political correctness is no better than the church sentencing Galileo to house arrest for life and Giordano Bruno to die at the stake for claiming the world is round.  Advocates of political correctness and religious dogma share the same skin.

Dr Kanazawa has an online column on Psychology Today called "A Look at the Hard Truths About Human Nature".

It includes posts with titles such as: "Are All Women Essentially Prostitutes?', "If Beautiful People Have Daughters, Why Do Posh and Becks Have Three Sons?", "More Intelligent People Are More Likely to Binge Drink and Get Drunk" and "Girls Are More Intelligent Than Boys, But Men Are More Intelligent Than Women".

All peer reviewed I'm sure.

Young black women are just as beautiful as women from other races.  However, my personal observation is that as a group they do not age as well as white women.  Just my unscientific observation.

"Going lesbian" isn't something the average woman can just do and then live happily ever after.  Many women think about it at some point in their lives, say after a breakup with a total asshole, and find it just doesn't work for them.  Many heterosexual men find dealing with women a frustrating experience and yet are unable to "go gay", so they continue to have unsatisfactory relationships with women.

Instead of a strong male member of the household working to provide a family living, I guess they "Go Chinese" instead of going lesbian. You have many households with three and sometimes four generations of women living together and the only males in the house are under 17.

But do most young men really care about what the woman looks like after going without for a certain amount of time? Of course not.

The very best ramen I have ever had in my life was a family place run just along those lines. It's still open and still great.

I am half white and I have to disagree. White women tend to get wrinkles very early compared to nearly everyone else. Based on a scientific study of the people I went to high school with, they tend to look haggard by 26. Luckily I picked up youthful traits from my mother.

Then there are the men that identify as being a fan of blowjobs, regardless of gender.

Mostly white, here, and I have to agree with taffy.  White people wrinkle more, and earlier.  Most black and Asian women, while they don't actually look more youthful, look much more attractive than us white ladies in middle age.

Kanazawa is a joke in the academic community not because of political correctness but because of his methodologies, or lack thereof.  This was from a blog post, not a peer reviewed article.  It was an opinion put out there to be inflammatory because that's what people do when they aren't bright enough to come up with any scholarly research.  Since I was familiar with his other bullshit blog posts, I took this one with a grain of salt and was disappointed that PT pulled it.  It's rather he be exposed to the rigorous scrutiny that he deserves.

By the way, black women do wrinkle less than white women.  I have run into many black women over 50 who could pass for 10-15 years younger, and they have not had any botox or assistance.

There are some relatively objective measures, i.e., facial symmetry or facial features conforming to the goldern ratio. There are ample studies that show that attractiveness based on these criteria are cross cultural.

But there is also the intangible that attraction is culturally conditioned and subjective.  I know many black people who think Tiger Woods' ex, the Swedish beauty, looks like a monkey. She is so pale and blond and has features that are so culturally foreign that they cannot relate to her look at all.

That pretty much nails it.

Other than on TV, or on occasional trips to the USA, I'd never seen a black person until I was 18.  To me, everyone who wasn't white, was indigenous North American or was Asian, and all of those have, to me, the same approximate mix of babes and 2-to-6-baggers.

But black people... yeah, to me most of the women are multi-baggers by a long shot, and the ones I find attractive tend to look the most white or asian.

That said, I know it's wholly cultural.  I wasn't brought up around any of them, and I was an adult before I saw any significant number of them so my brain had long ago solidified what it thinks is attractive.  That just didn't include black women.

I have always thought it must work the same way in reverse.  If you lived in the Congo all your life and never saw a white person or an Asian, then they'd probably look kind of weird to you.

All but a tiny fraction of human history is African and that's where its greatest genetic diversity remains. Skinny, fat, short, tall, Africa's got it all. Who needs rule 34? Then again, the one-eye trouser snake is legally blind and human males fuck anything. Ask Ahnold.

One might argue, however, that humans took the opportunity to get the hell out of Africa as quickly as they could once they developed the know-how.  Certainly more humans currently live in Asia than ever lived in Africa.

Humans came to North America when they ran out of easy things to exploit  in Eur-Asia.

When I said black women do not age as well, I wasn't particularly thinking of wrinkles.  True they develop them later and in fewer numbers.  However, black women seem to be skinny when young and add weight soon after they leave their teens.  Older black women appear to have masculine features.  Of course, there are few purely negroid women in the U.S. and I have no experience with African women, so I don't know if it's a racial or a cultural thing.

Dude, look around you.   Most of the US population is overweight.  I was at an anime convention last weekend, which was a mostly white, mostly under 30 and mostly overweight event (I even have photos to prove it).  The average women in the United States wears a size 14.  Here are some more facts: http://shopping.aol.com/articles/2008/1 … hing-size/

You mean like Janet Reno, Elena Kagen, Madeleine Albright, and even Sarah Palin with her square jaw line and Ann Coulter with her masculine face and Adams apple?  At least Peco admits that his views are socially contructed and not based in any objective reality.

"The average women in the United States wears a size 14."  (the female member of our unit is a size 4.  You can feed the Scots, but ya can't stuff 'em.)

"At least Peco admits that his views are socially contructed and not based in any objective reality." (I think Phwedd could take a class in parsing out emotion and logic.)

Don't forget that today's size 14 is probably closer to what was a size 18 ten years ago.
