76 does not seem like enough. I aspire to be more like the righteous plantation overlords of old.

Apparently I need to buy more electronic gadgets. And jewelry.

I'm only the overlord for 56 slaves. I'm sure if I had included totals for Partner™ I could have broken into 3 digits. I'm so ashamed I'm not up to 3 digits on my own.

26, you self-righteous bastards! If I might suggest, sneak into your worst enemy's house, report a shit-load of electronics and diamonds, and see what happens.

Hmmmm.... I'm only at forty two slaves... I figured the hippie dippy amongst us would have way less!

I bet you're one of those hemp-shampoo smuggies who makes a point of mentioning that they don't own a TV (mine's got a 56" screen. SpongeBob at that magnitude is more awesome than you can possibly imagine).

Clearly, you do not have enough slaves.

You pikers clearly don't have enough electronics, action figures, and stuffed animals.

From their website:
"How do we define Slavery? (Forced Labor):
Anyone who is forced to work without pay, being economically exploited, and is unable to walk away."
The definition is too vague. forced how? Threat of physical violence or threat of being sued...
"Unable to walk away" why? Physically restrained or unable to walk away because the family will starve if the worker stops working?
One of my ancestors was an indentured apprentice to a blacksmith who paid him and his family's passage from England. In return he bonded himself to apprenticeship for 8 years. By the definition above, he would have been considered a slave. Bonded apprenticeship is still an accepted practice in many places, as it is one of the only ways for someone without any money to learn a trade, other than their father's trade.
My ancestor died 2 years into his apprenticeship and his son, my g'g'grandfather (then only 12 years old) volunteered to serve out his fathers last 6 years of servitude. He didn't have to do it. The indenturing contract was invalidated by his father's death, but he felt an obligation.
Slavery does happen, and it is a horrible, horrible thing. But there is a lot of cultural bias in determining just what constitutes a slave and many of these organizations have some kind of political or philosophical axe to grind and overstate the problem.

Actually, I agree with this; it's an excellent point.
I also know that a lot of what happens is what we'd characterize as "exploitation" rather than outright slavery (I'd define that as people cornered by circumstances into having to accept far less remuneration for their labor than it is worth), and that's still wrong and should be discouraged.
A third category would be people in whose cultures "indenture" or apprenticeship is a recognized and traditional opportunity to better oneself--in a sense, buying one's "freedom," or prosperity, or autonomy, however you want to name it. And unless we have a better system to replace that with,* we should not be so arrogant as to want to dismantle it.
On the whole, it appears obvious that precious metals and gems really do nourish true slavery in the world today, and it'd be better not to support that system, and easy enough for first-world consumers to stop trading in those products.
However, you'll only take away my chocolate and coffee by prying them from my cold, dead fingers. You think I'm kidding? I'm not kidding. Back off...
*via armed force, of course, in the traditional American way

Who has 50 pairs of regular shoes and 50 pairs of leather shoes in your closet?
Great, 55 "slaves". I blame it on the White Devil exporting all of those evil electronics assembly jobs to Southeast Asia. Those poor agrarian pikers would have been much, much better off thinking about how free they were while starving to death every decade when the monsoon failed than being forced to work inside, sitting at a table soldering motherboards together.

I think that's supposed to be a household total. The Boss once packed nine pairs of shoes, and wore a tenth, for a seven day trip to Disney World. She honestly didn't understand my refusal to tote her hundred pound suitcase. I'm just obstinate and lazy.

You obviously need to find a couple more slaves.

I have 67 slaves but since they would not let me enter the sex trade info the numbers are inaccurate. I'm guessing more like 150 ish.

I found that little kick in the nuts a little specious. As in "Child prostitution is a bad thing, but after telling you how many kids you have slaving for you in the copper mines of Mongolia to make your cell phone parts, we are too timid to mention that 14 year old Thai hooker that services the Japanese Salaryman who oversees it's assembly by 14 year old Korean girls".
