Petting and playing with a cat is about a bazillion times more effective than going to psychotherapy with some frigid ice queen to talk about your mother and her predilection for gin. So I'm sure it's a bargain, whatever a latte costs. We pay too much for coffee here, and all we get for it is snide barristas and shitty elevator music.

But, if you tried it in this country some enterprising ambulance chaser would send in someone with a cat dander allergy and then sue your ass off for failing to provide for her special medical needs.
