I don’t know if horticulture is of any interest to her, but this show would be a fine introduction because it ties into one of her other interests.  Found through Stumble Upon.

Okay, I pretty much assume that any link posted here is NSFW, which to me means that I have to make sure no one is around before I click on it.

That having been said, I think the tag we need on this forum is Unsafe Audio, or maybe GAY (Gratuitous Audio Yuser).  (Sorry, GAU was not as catchy.)

Right now I have to see my eye doctor several times a year to rule out the possibility of glaucoma.  Because of all the recent surgeries to save my vision, it is unclear whether my slightly higher than average eye pressure is the result of surgery, or the start of glaucoma, which does run in my family.  If it is glaucoma, I may have to emigrate to Canada and start smoking again.  I will just have to learn to live with munchies, being hornier than a negro on Viagra, and being toasted.  I just set up a greenhouse for my tropical plants, so I am learning about greenhouse management this winter; experience that will be useful if I find it necessary to grow weed for medical reasons.

I can say from experience that teh ganga is a gawd-send.  Even though chemo, etc. is much less painful these days (so says my dad, who's going through it...) you can only benefit from lighting up.  Good luck with the glaucoma, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I can't imagine anything more fun that and I'm jealous. Post pics when you get a chance. Forget the weed, are you breeding anything interesting?

I’m not growing anything that would be considered unusual for someone who gardens in California or Florida.  I’m not deliberately breeding anything, but one of my plumeria does have a few seedpods.  Any home I’ve owned has wound up with a tropical jungle on the property.  I’m going to try to achieve the same effect at my current home using a style of gardening called tropicalesque.  This involves using hardy plants that look tropical, tropicals grown as annuals, and plants that are overwintered in a greenhouse or dormant storage.  This is the first time since my early childhood that I’ve lived in a cold climate, so I'm relearning how to garden.

Note: I thought I posted earlier; either I had a brainfart, or the server is eating posts again.

Where is Sofaking?  She is one of the more prolific posters; she has been MIA for five days now!  I’m under the impression that some of you are in touch with her in meatspace.  Has she gone septic again?  If any of you know how to get in touch with her, would you please do so?

Good idea. Done. From another thread entirely, I'm here today but for the grace of black Cape Verdeans and Peruvian Indians, so you might understand why I hold people of color at least the equal and often superior to their anglo counterparts.

So what's the scoop?  Is she ok and has just been busy, really stoned, pissed off, or is she not well?
