A very good friend of mine got a liver transplant just two weeks ago.  She spent a fair portion of her younger years playing with sharp objects.  We were close friends even then, so maybe I should get tested.  But then again. . . . why spoil the surprise?

If you banged her and/or shared needles with her, get tested!  There's a good chance of clearing up the infection, and the liver can heal itself.
