Apparently not for him, though.

Comment section seems to be visible to me... and yeah, there's a few good ones there.

I'll snapshot it here just in case it does disappear.

I'm pretty sure thinking about baseball is the cure. (In severe cases, imagining grandma in her underwear may be indicated.)

"...The hospital denies the allegations, saying Scott was negligent in failing to seek immediate treatment..." --- That is the lamest excuse I've heard in a long time. It's quite apparent, then, that the charges are true I don't think anyone in pain---with a history of great pain---is going to be late in seeking treatment. And why is there a TV set that the staff could be watching while on duty?

"Scott was driving customers from Boston to New York on April 17, 2009, when he suffered a persistent and disabling erection. After dropping off the customers, Scott said he checked into an emergency medical facility affiliated with the hospital but was told he had to move his bus because he had parked it in the wrong place."

I think the doctors should be arrested, tried and found guilty and sentenced to Life on a Penal Farm. What exactly do they grow on penal farms anyway?

"failing to seek immediate treatment"...hmmm...he checked into an emergency med facility... hmmm... what? He didn't cause a scene and bully his way into where the docs were and demand to be seen? (like our illegals do here in California)! Am I missing the main thrust of the docs argument here?

The Doctors involved here are totally culpable for not administering a stiff dose of Micoxyflopsin immediately! Throw them all to the horn dawgs in a State Penile Facility!

My father died there because the residents and doctors didn't have the balls to step up and get a game plan to treat him in a timely manner. I'm sure he would still be alive today if he went somewhere else. it seemed like a guessing game for all of them.

What a horrible headline. Is the journalist a lawyer in the case? Does he know what the plaintiff said is true? Otherwise, how dare you convict before even the lawsuit figures it out?

The gentleman doesn't really get it as ER do the triage deal and take the more serious cases first, so depending on what comes up a woman in labor, a guy with chest pains, an old man with rectal bleeding a person could be waiting a long time before receiving service. If he is successful than everyone in this country who have made trips to an ER can also sue sine we have all had to wait for hours. Who knows if the docs had not just gotten off their shift or if they had examined all the patients and were waiting for the patient to be x-rayed or maybe they were receiving a drip IV-. The docs aren't going to run out and grab this guy treating him in the waiting room, he is waiting for a bed to open up and while he may hurt and be uncomfortable, his case may be minor compared with all the others. It's not first in first treated, you may even be delayed by serious cases on their way in via copter. The court will toss the case, it's simply nuts to made such charges.

I am sorry for this guy but this story really does lend itself to wisecracks. It must have been hard to just sit around and wait for the doctors. I mean it seems like he spent more time at the bat than Casey!

So he was in pain but didn't suffer any lasting effects (at least none were noted.) Stop being a pansy and get over it. No one owes you anything. If you don't like the service this hospital offered, go somewhere else next time.

I'm tired of these morons thinking that suing someplace is their recourse of choice. Greedy idiots who somehow think they deserve someone to take care of them right away. Your life wasn't at risk buddy.. take a seat and wait until the people whose labor you want are ready to take care of you. Don't like it... go somewhere else. Whiny people always go to the bottom of my list whenever I'm needed by more than one person.

Gee, you sound so tough. Big fat face and fu man chu and all. What the docs did flies in the face of the "Hippocratic Oath" (watching a baseball game during work hours and letting someone suffer). Yer just the kind of big turd one would expect to find in Mesa AZ. I hope it happens to you ten times over. We'll see what a "panzy" you are.

The hospitalized man should have 'stepped up to the plate' and 'walked' (kinda weak I know) into the TV room, 'thrown some strikes', 'intentionally hitting' the doctors and then eventually 'broken his bat' from too many 'foul balls.'
