Bernie Ward is a well-known Bush-bashing, left wing, San Francisco talk show host with KGO who got caught with kiddie porn. But his agent swears it's a Bush plot. For Gawd's sake, the man's an ex-priest, so why are we surprised?

There's only one thing that bothers me. If it really has to do with something four years ago, then what took so long to bring an indictment?
I actually liked his show, because while I didn't always agree with him, he usually had a pretty consistent, reasoned viewpoint, and I could usually see where he was coming from. I thought having Gene Burns followed by Bernie Ward made a pretty good combination when I used to commute and I'd hit the last hour of one and the first of the other. He seemed like a nice enough guy on the radio, but I don't know why anyone other than his friends and family would act like there's no way that it could be true. None of his listeners actually know the guy.
