Not at all surprising. Considering our prison systems are run by private corporations, and the highest donors to "The War on Drugs" lobby are prison guard and police unions, I doubt it will go down any time soon.

Not that I am fond of the comparison, but it does seem like a very selective list. Where's Russia, China, India, etc.?

If we ended the War On Drugs, we would still have a high incarceration rate because of all the violent niggers and spics America is saddled with. The incarceration rate for the White population would no doubt be similar to the rate for White people living in White countries.

No, but when the article title says "U.S. Jails More People Than Any Other Country" I'd expect to see a comparison against every other country, not selected ones.
