Only one? Usually, you have so many. Anyway... I've really been quite careful. I imitate only those who appear to have tenure and I focus my attentions on the ones who think their status is perpetually assured. I give them a lot less shit than you're giving me now and I can take a whole lot more than you're capable of producing. Do you think you can come up with more than playground taunts?

Dear Insipid-Little-Cunt,
I've no idea what you believe it is that you have to gain by lobbing such unprovoked attacks (I was hardly taking Dhal's side were you suffering such delusions); However, rest assured that - If you truly desire to get down and fucking dirty - I will run fucking circles around your ass (Despite your having the distinct advantage of being able to spit out paragraph after paragraph of unrelated tripe {Thus, guaranteeing that I'll have moved on to the next commenter by your second sentence}).
In an attempt to adapt to the fact that High-Street is - In actuality - more Cruel's a-bit-more-on-the-optimistic-side-placenta than yet another bitter-after-birth, I have been as fucking tolerant of your dreary-ass, rain-on-every-body's-parade attitude as I possibly can; But, you seem to have no fucking clue where to draw the line, you thick, "fuck-tard."
Succinctly,
Dexedrine (The Bitter-Bastard Formerly Known As "Clonazepam" who was formerly known as "The Kinder Crueler" {Who beget . . .})

Here's a start...
In the dose-response study, 8 gm/day of olestra increased the total number of incidents of gastrointestinal symptoms — including diarrhea, loose stools, nausea, gas, and others — from 40 to 66 (65% increase). In the two clinical studies, 20 gm/day of olestra caused roughly a doubling of the number of incidents compared to controls.

Nice one, Fled. Even if it does oddly resemble a Chevy headrest I once saw (maybe they were onto something).
Now accepting "requests."
The NSFW thread is getting tedious to sift thru, despite my encouragements to split it. Feel free to PM me with something that meets the following criteria:
Can include "editable" porn/horror/schlock (overt nudity & gore can't be a banner).
Must be able to display horizontally. Provide cropping instructions if you want.
Tagline/slogan suggestions are welcome, but may be altered.
Content abusive to individual members will be ignored (by me, at least).
Include any font, color, or size directions, if you have any.
Please allow some time for creation. Thx.

Y'know, I suggest that the lower window homepage message - "Coarse and offensive (etc.)" - ought to be incorporated in a default banner, with a not-TOO-bad image just so normals get an inkling of what to expect. And, Mr. Natural ain't it.

That's an interesting idea. Are you suggesting members see revolving banners but visitors get the same banner all the time?
I expected Mr. Natural to wander off inside a week but nothing appropriate ever materialized to take his place. A notorious cartooner cousin of mine - now in his late 70s - gave us one of his better known drawings for that space, but it's straight ahead porn.
Got any suggestions?

Does Pun have a watermarking feature, or can one be called as a transparent GIF to overlay whatever displays? There may be an issue with inconsistent sizes, but most have enough open space for something centered at the bottom. A side benefit would be that it would keep people from swiping the banners, tho I can't imagine why anyone would do that.

The second idea is feasible but probably messy. Displaying an image immediately below the banner, same problem.
If I read sigmoid right, though, I think he's on to something; not least is an incentive to register.

No, no. She's fab, just as you've got her. I try to steer clear of recognizable children (I thought I recalled the one I snagged from the NSFW thread as being typical of Sally Mann's controversial work). I filtered and cropped it a bit, but since she'd already exploited her own kids for the sake of "art," I figured it was safer for re-use. Mine is also the "Abusing Your Inner Child" panel. Those prepubescent pageant girls disturb me. Yours is at least "keepin' it real."
