I don't know what you're talking about. My torch hasn't left my shop in years.
Must be the result of a bad business deal.

Just start at the beginning of the article and start counting weasel words. "authorities believe", "apparently", "allegations". I'm dead set against union thugs trying to prevent non-union people from their right to earn a living, but that article is a mountain of marshmallow fluff.

I spent about 3 months woking in downtown Philly at the SunGard colo in the old Post Office building. While there, they were in the middle of a major effort to upgrade between floor cabling, power, etc. they were using old elevator shafts to run cables between the floors.
I saw at least two fist fights between competing union guys as wwell as one instance of a union guy working on an upper floor and a non-union guy down below, where the union guy starts welding and the slag was falling on the non-union guy's head. A shouting match ensue, and when the union guy found out the other guy non-union, proceeds to start randomly drop bolts along with the welding slag.
Philly is one of the nastiest towns in the country when it comes to union v. non-union. At least from my personal observations.
I love the town though, and some of the street food is amazing, as long as you carry a portable defibrillator.....

When I worked for a company that build power plants, I was shocked to find out how much that Maine is a pro-union state. Also one of the highest workers comp states.
