I was looking for a Deer Hunter (1978), a Full Metal Jacket (1987), or a Born on the Fourth of July (1989), in vain. I thus concluded that the 9/11 and the successive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were in no way traumatic the way the Vietnam war was and thus no similar social or cinematic movement came out of these events. As evident in these films and their box office failures, Americans simply did not care about these wars for there was no draft and they showed it in the way they produced and received these mostly negligible films.

Maybe Hollywood would be better off making  movies that have absolutely no connection to 9/11 at all. Tom Clancy writes stories that seem to be popular with the masses, so perhaps big-budget versions of Red Storm Rising and Debt Of Honor would be in order. In the first book KBG agents secretly wire a highrise building with explosives and then blow it up as a pretext for war, and in the second a Boeing 747 is flown into a national landmark in Washington D.C. Both books were published long before 2001 so they should be very safe.

Oh, how the pretend bourgeois fat-asses piss all over themselves with praise for this film's 'honesty'.  They say shit like, 'oh, she was so brave for being honest about torture'.

Think about that for a minute.   It's almost like, in their grinch-like hearts, admitting a small indiscretion justifies and distracts from the larger moral hazard.

But this is enough validation, to make the average american feel warm down in his wiggly waddles.

Nothing scares the oligarchy more than a massive idiotic population who suddenly becomes awakened to the extent of the moral hazards.  This is how revolutions start.

Every empire, to ever exist, died after the weight of Moral Hazards became too much to bear.  But don't try to explain this to americans, even educated americans.  It's like trying to teach a pig to sing Ave Maria.
