I'd like to thank the John Birch Society for turning me on to the Rounders in the late 70's. Their wonderful publication Marxist Minstrels was full of detailed and specific explanations of the satanic, treasonous, and communistic bent of the modern music industry, each one followed by a list of bands that perfectly illustrated their arguments. Many bands like the Rolling Stones were on a majority of lists but only three were on every list: The Beatles, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, and The Fugs. I was already well into the the first two, but decided right there in the bookstore that The Fugs must be into some good shit. They led me straight to the Holy Modal Rounders and I've never looked back.

I'd also like to acknowledge my debt of gratitude to the Ben Franklin-looking shitbag who ran the store for refusing to sell me any JBS literature when went back to buy the book.

Yes of course, the divisors of men, who work in whole numbers so that no man is left unaffiliated, worked their sorcery on an overly educated, but ultimately under-achieving public.  After the love/hate and the hate/love is dispensed, the sun is yet, still unaffected and takes no notice of our passing.       

I hope no one has played this yet.  It is the sexiest video ever made.

So, for my edification, do you guys just want oldies rock songs on this thread?  Do you want new stuff too?  Would people whine and dribble snot all over the place if I played a few country or gospel songs?  I love all music.
