They are about 15 miles from me.

It is fucktard season here in West Central Pa.   I can tell you with no degree of uncertainty that it was a feud over a place to sit and hunt goddamn fucking deer.

On a lighter note, I am leaving Tuesday for 3 weeks of backpacking on the Appalachian Trail. I will get to leave this fucked up town behind for a while and I hope that when I return, more hunters have killed each other and themselves. WOOT!

I'm looking forward to returning to read all of the posts Em has added to his personal vanity page(High Street)

Could you make it an even month? In fact, why not hike the whole trail? Doing it in an antler hat might be fun too!

Will you still be here blessing us with your incredible wit when you finally inherit the Massengill Fortune?

After the Preparation-H empire is finally yours will tie up our yachts mid-ocean and drink a toast to the little people.

They sound like a bunch of trash.  Hopefully the gene pool was totally cleansed of these turds and no sprogs were left behind to take further dumps in the pool.

It would take a nuke to cleanse this area. Hope it comes while I'm away.

Sounds like a backpacking trek is just what you need. Wish I was taking one too.

Please wear orange.  Don't worry, the deer are colorblind.

Springer Mountain Georgia to Fontana Dam on the N.C/ Tennessee border. I did get some reflective shirts, nearly forgot that hunting is a national fuckaree.

If that section goes through any national parks you may have a problem.  They will be closed for the length of the government "shutdown".

Anyway, hope you have a great time.

I hadn't considered that.  Do you think it will be an issue if I don't need to use any park services? I just plan on hiking through on the main trail to Fontana with vey few town stops.

Eh?  I don't do facebook or any gay shit like that - this here place is fairly safe from prying corporate HR eyes.

I know, I just wanted to harass you one more time before I go. 3 weeks is a long time to be away from pissing you off.

A) If you do manage the hike, you will be about 45 minutes away from me.  Sorry, I can't make the kickoff party.  Amicalola Falls are nice if you can sneak that in.  Beautiful part of the world up there, even if it is in GA.

B) I would actually love it if you would start a thread just to post stories of recently departed rednecks who mistook each other for deer....

It would be my pleasure, I feel as though it is my calling.

I was hoping to spend a day at Amicalola Falls, never been there before but I have heard nice things.

My understanding is that they will be closed to hikers.  You may want to check the WhiteBlaze forums (I'm not registered).

If the parks are shut down and the park rangers aren't working, they'll be no one to tell you not to enter, will there?

Anyone know anything about The Adirondacks? I know it is state not national but am not at all familiar with the area. I would really like a 140 to 180 mile hike where a shuttle is available or it is a circuit. If the cocksuckers shut down the world, I would like to have a backpacking trip there.

I'm spending 3 fucking weeks in the woods alone no matter what. I am open to suggestions but really need it to be no more than a 2 or 3 day drive from Pa.

You're going to walk 180 miles with a pack for the fun of it?  That just sounds like five days of hell to me, fifteen for the Army doggies I reckon.

Even if the National Parks are closed, what are they going to do, hang a chain across every trailhead? The worst that will happen is that some County Mounty looking for a place to grab some Z's will see you and give you a ride out of the park.

See now there is the difference between the Army dogs and the Jarheads; the proper command in the Marines is simply "Begin" and you are finished when they get tired of watching you.  If they have the Sunday paper you are truly fucked.
