This lovely young lady is Jane Bielawski with her doll, Missy. The story goes that, in the late 1800s in New York City, several of Jane's friends died violently. Jane was always nearby when these tragic "accidents" occurred. The police tried to question Jane, but she went berserk and accused her doll of being responsible for the murders. In the presence of the detectives, Jane threw the doll out of her apartment window, screaming "Bad dolly! Naughtly dolly!" Jane was carted off to Bloomingdale Asylum, where she was treated for hysteria. But Jane never left that institution, eventually dying of natural causes as an old woman in 1968. She never stopped claiming that her doll, Missy, was evil and caused the deaths of Jane's friends.

What happened to the doll remains a mystery.
That's bullshit. She has a country cooking show on the Food Network now. I own a set of her pots and pans. She no longer kills people except through her recipes. And she hates negroes.
