Kerrigan was a skinny, spoiled, whiny, bitch.
Harding was someone you felt like you could take out, get her drunk, and fuck the shit out of her.

You mean you didn't?
Kerrigan had grace. Harding had athleticism. Kerrigan had elegance. Harding had aggression.
And Matt Crossman has bullshit. Why is there no mention in the article about the judging system in place at the time that put more emphasis on looks than on skating ability? It was precisely that system that made Harding think that she needed to nobble her competition just to get an even break.

But if Tonya couldn’t bring the axel, we weren’t interested. She wasn’t rewarded for working on her artistic impression, and no one cared if she landed a triple lutz or a triple-triple combination that would have garnered high praise for any other competitor.

All I know is Tonya's little shit-fit over her laces fucked over Josée Chouinard by forcing her (Josée) to perform ahead of schedule. I was hoping against hope they'd just disqualify that stupid bitch for her final act of "Fuck You, Olympics!" but they actually let her perform out of some misplaced, deviant sympathy.
If there was a day Canada was going to snap, drink too much, and stomp its collective ass downstairs to start a drunken shoving match with the neighbors...well, that was probably as close as it's come since 1812. A LOT of bad feelings over that one. Josée was a sweetheart who won our hearts. Tonya was an attention-whore who should have been drowned as an infant.
*looks around*
Uh...but, of course, that's all behind us, now.
