I don't get why necrophilia is considered so much worse than rape. I'd rather be violated after I'm dead. Hmm, I wonder how long Ebay would take to pull that auction.

This case is back in the news because of recent court rulings allowing the families to sue Hamilton County. I considered posting an update to the topic below from 2012 which was about this story, but decided a legal update wasn't worth it.

You can gift your corpse to a school and they can buy it from you in advance. (For a suitable "donation" of course, outright sale of remains is of course highly prohibited...) It's how many old prisoners pay a last debt. I've bought one for an archaeology class, properly prepared and preserved, and it wasn't cheap.
So why be so picky about who pays? Is it much different with the flesh on as off?
