I'm not a gun owner and I live in an urban area, the funny thing is I don't feel the need to have a gun at home but when I vacation in the back woods of North Carolina I can't sleep thinking about Kooter breaking in and making me into chili. I guess it's what you are used to...

Grew up around firearms, shot a rifle first time at age 4. Still have all my dad's and many of my own.
Couple years ago, a coworker got over the top on mushrooms, beat the shit out of his girlfriend, shot himself with his Glock. 6 months later, another coworker's granddaughter was murdered by an ex-boyfriend who then offed himself as well.
Fuck that shit. This ain't the 1960's any more.
