Probably not very well. Sumotori are heavy and strong, but also very loose and very flexible. Linemen push and tackle each other, but who touches the ground first isn't really their concern. And without their pads and helmets they'd be dead meat in no time.
Sumo is not just a fat and ugly contest, the extra weight on a wrestler is like the lead weights you put on a model locomotive so it can pull more cars. Even so, there is a lot of finesse involved. Getting the other guy to go off balance is a major part of the game, and if that doesn't work you can always slap the dog shit out of him.

Ironically we have a ton of FC St. Pauli gear around the house, as you all know the Totenkopf was in high style for a while. My knowing about St. Pauli allowed my kids to style the stylish that nobody else had even when we were living in "Surf City USA". Small dad victory for only a few hundred dollars shipping and a passing ability to read German.
FC St. Pauli remains my favorite continental club.
