A girlfriend I had many, many moons ago was part of a similarly scandalous trial back in the early 90s. That scumbag got away with it too.
Essentially, Arab and Iranian Trustafarians in the UK have a bad habit of sticking it in unwanted places and getting away with it.
If you look at the way the British prostrate themselves to any goat molester who struck oil, you'll see these trials as a smaller version of a big picture.
